Here’s the letter the ABC affiliate relations senior VP sent to stations this week after Diane Keaton‘s “F” bomb drop. (The letter has the date wrong, the Keaton interview was Tuesday. Maybe he was thinking of that riveting Katie Holmes interview which did air Monday.)
Dear ABC Affiliate,
During a live in-studio interview on Good Morning America on Monday, January 14th, Diane Keaton unexpectedly and regrettably used an expletive at approximately 8:20am ET. Keaton promptly apologized, and interviewer Diane Sawyer admonished her for the inappropriate language. The expletive was deleted from the Central, Mountain and Pacific feeds of GMA.John L. Rouse
