David Reiter Upped at ABC News

ABC News president David Westin announced that David Reiter will become executive editorial director of ABC News. In the new position, the 13-year ABC vet will have daily oversight of all news gathering operations including the assignment of correspondents, producers, and crews. Reiter reports to senior VP for News Kate O’Brian.

Reiter began his career at ABC as a desk assistant in 1994. Most recently he was senior broadcast producer at Weekend World News and Special Events.
