“World News Tonight” Anchor David Muir is in Arlington, Texas to broadcast the evening newscast from the College Football Playoff National Championship tonight between University of Oregon and The Ohio State University.
Muir will go behind the scenes with both teams, including an interview with Oregon running back coach Gary Campbell — who grew up in Texas during segregation and was the first black player on his high school football team. Also, Muir’s “Made in America” series will take viewers to the Ohio factory where Wilson footballs are made for the Super Bowl and for this college championship.
After the newscast, Muir will also be part of the ESPN pre-game show. The inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship is tonight on ESPN at 8:30 pm ET.
