With their Indiana connection, and roots going back to morning shows on NBC in the 1980s, David Letterman has chosen to give his only TV interview to Jane Pauley. “I’m naked and afraid,” a quite serious Letterman tells Pauley. “Any enormous uprooting change in my life has petrified me. But once I’ve come through the other side the reward has been unimaginable.”
