David Gregory Joins CNN for Iowa Caucus Coverage

CNN has signed up David Gregory to take part in CNN’s New Day coverage for the Iowa Caucus. Gregory appeared several times this morning and will also be part of CNN’s coverage tomorrow, when the show originates from New Hampshire. Gregory worked for NBC News for nearly 20 years, including 6 as moderator of Meet the Press, before leaving in 2014.

Upon the publication of his book last year, Gregory made the media rounds telling CBS This Morning, “I don’t miss NBC. I don’t miss being there. It was just the wrong atmosphere for me.”
