Dateline Up on Blizzard-Driven Night

By Chris Ariens

#Snowzilla kept millions of people on the East Coast homebound last night, which may have helped Friday night TV viewing, except on those stations that preempted network prime time to cover the storm. That included Washington DC’s WRC, which remained live all night. Despite that, Dateline NBC had its best performance since March and tied for first in the A18-49 demo in its timeslot last night. The show averaged 6 million viewers also its best since March. The second hour of Dateline also topped ABC’s 20/20.

CBS’s procedural dramas Hawaii 5-0 and Blue Bloods were the most-watched shows of the night, averaging 10 and 11.4 million viewers, respectively.
