Dateline helped NBC to a second-place finish last week in Total Viewers. The network also tied in A25-54 viewers. (A little show called “America’s Got Talent” also helped.) As for the Dateline airings last week:
- Monday Aug. 3 (“A Stranger in the House”): The number 14 show for the week in A18-49 and #16 in Total Viewers. It was the top showing for a news magazine program last week.
- Friday Aug 7 (“Terror at the Mall/Rosemary and the Motorcycle Man”): The #1 broadcast program for the night in Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo.
- Sunday Aug 9 (“Back to Woodstock”): In a head-to-head match, topped CBS’ “60 Minutes” in the A25-54 demo.
