Five Weekly “Ready to Air” Video Packages Feature Positive, Inspirational News Stories From Former CNN News Anchor Daryn Kagan

Daryn Kagan and Sewee Entertainment announced today the launch of Good News with Daryn Kagan, a syndicated news service featuring inspiring news reporting from Daryn Kagan, creator and host of DarynKagan.com, the web’s one-stop destination for inspiring news stories. The news service is available to television stations for use in their newscasts and compatible websites, and offers five weekly “ready to air” one to two minute video news reports.

“Broadcast TV stations nationwide are being forced to do more with less people, and viewers are telling us they’re weary of the many negative news stories,” said Tim Voit, president of Sewee Entertainment. “Good News with Daryn Kagan will expand a station’s news wheel while giving viewers something new and fresh every day of the week.”

In addition to her work with DarynKagan.com, Kagan can also be heard each weekday hosting daily customized news updates intertwined with uplifting human-interest stories on Oprah Winfrey’s popular satellite radio network, Oprah Radio, on SIRIUS XM Radio. Kagan earlier served as a CNN main news anchor from 1994-2006, and she traveled the world to cover history-making news events that included reporting live from the Middle East during the war in Iraq, and from numerous African nations with rock band U2’s Bono. She was also live on the air the morning of September 11, 2001, and brought the news of the terrorist attacks against the U.S. to tens of millions of CNN viewers around the world.

Voit and Sewee Entertainment will handle distribution for Good News with Daryn Kagan.
