Dan Rather Case Back in Court

By Chris Ariens

TVNewser has learned Dan Rather’s case against CBS Corp. is back before Judge Gammerman’s court tomorrow afternoon. We’ll let know more tomorrow morning about what to expect.

If you watched the coverage of the death of Walter Cronkite this weekend, you did not see much of Rather on CBS. Rather, who succeeded Cronkite in the anchor chair in 1981 and who left the network in 2006 amid the memogate scandal, did make the rounds on the cable news networks however. Rather’s taped soundbites in CBS’ Cronkite specials dealt with his reporting from Dallas after John F. Kennedy‘s assassination and his coverage on the floor of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 1968.
