Dan Arnall joins NBC News as executive producer of Nightly News Weekend. He takes over for Jamie Kraft who moved to MSNBC as senior ep of dayside programming. “Dan brings an experienced editorial hand and a sharp mind for show production to our existing strong bench at WNN,” writes NBC News svp Janelle Rodriguez in a note to staff.
Arnall joins from Bloomberg, where he was deputy head of Television Global Operations. Before that he spent a decade at ABC News including as senior producer of World News with Diane Sawyer.
Weekend Nightly News is anchored by Jose Diaz Balart on Saturdays and Kate Snow.

Arnall joins Sept. 6, “to help us all take this great broadcast through the election season and beyond,” writes Rodriguez.
