Conversation Closer: Eisner’s CNBC Show To End Run

By Chris Ariens

The NYPost reports Michael Eisner is ending his “Conversations” program on CNBC with the March episode.

“It has been a pleasure doing the show, and I’ve gotten great support from the talented people at CNBC,” Eisner tells the Post. The former Disney chairman intends to spend more time on his stake in Tornante Company which invests in, among other things, the Web site Veoh and a Web series called “Prom Queen.”

The monthly show has never found its footing or a regular spot on the CNBC schedule. The December episode, which premiered last Tuesday, drew 60,000 A25-54 viewers and 138,000 Total Viewers at 9pmET.
