CNN’s Steve Kastenbaum Joins Westwood One

cnnCNN reporter and producer Steve Kastenbaum has been named senior correspondent and New York bureau chief for Westwood One News, a new service set to launch at the end of the year.

Kastenbaum, a veteran of CNN Radio, which was shuttered last year, has been reporting and field producing for CNN and CNN Newsource. He’ll lead a team of new hires.

NEW YORK, NY – October 27, 2014 – Westwood One today announced that its new customized news product–Westwood One News, a next-generation, full-service news network powered by CNN—has built an award-winning news team featuring top correspondents. CNN Correspondent Steve Kastenbaum will be joining Westwood One News as Senior Correspondent and New York Bureau Chief. Bob Costantini of NBC News Radio will become the network’s Washington correspondent, covering the White House and Capitol Hill. Veteran CNN broadcast journalist Jim Roope joins as the network’s West Coast correspondent based in Los Angeles. Alan Scaia will serve as the Midwest reporter based in Dallas.
