More than a year after the birth of his son, CNN’s social media correspondent Josh Levs is talking about how he delivered the baby boy (right) during an emergency situation.
This morning on “Sanjay Gupta MD” Levs talks about the delivery and how nobody told him this might happen: “[My wife] might skip labor, suddenly fall to the floor, and give birth. Oh, and the umbilical cord might be tangled around the baby’s neck five times.”
A 911 operator talked Levs through delivery. “Oh my God, the baby’s not breathing,” he said after delivery, “Breathe baby, breathe.” The operator then talked him through giving CPR. See the story this morning and again tomorrow morning on CNN at 7:30amET.
