It was inevitable. Once CNN’s new weekday morning show “New Day” launched, the channel’s weekend morning programs “Early Start Saturday” and “Early Start Sunday” were not to be long for this world.
Tomorrow morning it becomes official, as CNN renames the weekend morning shows “New Day Saturday” and “New Day Sunday.” You can see the new graphics to the left. The programs air from 6-9:30 AM on Saturday, and from 6-7:30 AM and 8-9 AM Sunday.
The weekend programs don’t have permanent anchors for now, with the channel rotating talent every week.
