CNN’s Bill Weir may think twice before firing off his next sarcastic tweet at the expense of the folks Down Under.
“Man, you throw shade on Australian swimmers with just one little tweet and they go Crocodile Dundee on your ass,” Weir said after he began trending in Sydney for his knock on the Aussies after they won swimming gold in Rio at the expense of Team USA:
You stare at the bottom of a pool for four years and some Aussie beats you by a fingernail. That’s gotta sting.
