Burgers, fries and wifi. It was a pretty good combination at the 2008 conventions, and so CNN is bringing back the CNN Grills for Tampa and Charlotte.
In Tampa, for the Republican National Convention beginning Aug. 27, the Grill will be located across the plaza from the Tampa Bay Times Forum. In Charlotte, when the Democrats convene Sept. 3, the Grill will be at the EpiCentre on the corner of E. Trade and College Streets, in close proximity to the Time Warner Cable Arena.
The Grills include live broadcasting facilities for CNN correspondents and anchors, an 8-foot Magic Wall, and customized menus reflecting local fare.
TVNewser will be covering both conventions once again. Merrill will be in Tampa to cover the RNC while Alex heads to Charlotte to cover the DNC.
