By A.J. Katz

At around 9:16 a.m. ET, CNN Newsroom co-anchor Poppy Harlow said that CNN congressional correspondent Phil Mattingly would have an “exclusive” interview with Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

During his 8-minute interview, Mattingly got the senator’s reaction to the news about her colleague Sen. John McCain, her thoughts on the 6-month anniversary of the Trump administration, and matters pertaining to Russia, until about 9:29 a.m. On screen graphics also described it as exclusive.

But it wasn’t.
