CNBC has won its first-ever Peabody Award, MediaWEEK notes. “The Age of Wal-Mart: Inside America’s Most Powerful Company” was an “inside story of the American
retail giant” that revealed “the workings of its intense corporate culture, forceful business practices and dollar-conscious distribution system,” the press release says.
