CNBC’s Becky Quick to Moderate National Town Hall

Becky Quick, co-anchor of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” will interview five of the nation’s top financial and economic policy experts in a discussion about the national debt. Warren Buffett, Blackstone Group’s Pete Peterson and Bill Novelli, CEO of AARP, will take part in the Q&A following a screening of the new documentary “I.O.U.S.A.“.

Quick will moderate the discussion August 21 from Omaha, while theaters across America also screen the film then take part in the town hall Q&A.

“I’m looking forward to moderating a first-class panel discussion on the critical topic of debt and its potential long-term implications,” said Quick. “This event, a true 21st-century town hall, couldn’t come at a more appropriate time.”
