CNBC: Personality & Substance

“The changes at CNBC have just begun to be announced,” a tipster said after yesterday’s morning show announcements. “Look for some big names to make big moves. Soon.”

In an interview with TVNewser yesterday, CNBC president Mark Hoffman declined to say whether the Squawk Box changes were part of the larger strategy this blog described on Monday. But he certainly didn’t deny it, either.

“If you’ve been watching, you’ve started to see some fairly dramatic changes on the air,” Hoffman said.

“It really is about personality, which means making it interesting, and real substance,” he said.
