CNBC Announces “1st Daily Live Global Business Program;” To Air From 4 to 6 a.m.

CNBC is scrapping “Wake Up Call” and launching “the first truly worldwide daily business news program, with anchors in New York, London and Singapore,” Mark Hoffman announced today. CNBC is calling the broadcast “unprecedented.” The name is apparently TBD.

It will be anchored by Michelle Caruso-Cabrera in New York, Ross Westgate in London and Christine Tan in Singapore. It will air from 4 to 6am in the US.

“The premiere of the worldwide program coincides with CNBC assuming full control in both CNBC Europe and CNBC Asia,” the press release explains.

VP of international news and programming Jeremy Pink will oversee the show…
