CNBC Adds Staff For Web Relaunch

CNBC has announced several “new hires and appointments” ahead of the Dec. 4 relaunch of CNBC.com. Here’s the list:

> Albert Bozzo, the executive producer and director of the video network of Forbes.com, is becoming CNBC.com’s senior news editor.

> Scott Billings, previously the news editor/producer for WSJ.com Video, is becoming senior news editor.

> Viktor Cea, previously the vice president of design and development for product platforms at Gartner, is becoming director of content and design.

> Alex Crippen, currently CNBC’s executive producer of breaking news, is adding CNBC.com’s live coverage to his responsibilities.
> Susan DeBaun, previously with the technology operations, graphics and quality departments of CNBC, is becoming director of strategic operations.

> Jeanne Rothermich, previously the vice president of interactive strategy for MSNBC, is becoming senior producer for TV coverage.

In the press release, Mark Hoffman says CNBC.com “will change the landscape of digital business news,” calling it a “game-changing site…”
