Clinton Campaign Responds to Fox News About That Interview Request

By Chris Ariens

Hillary Clinton‘s campaign reached out to Fox News today after Fox News Sunday moderator Chris Wallace called out the Democratic presidential candidate for not appearing on his show. Not only that, Wallace chided two senior staffers for not having “the courtesy to answer our phone calls and emails.”

A Fox News spokesperson confirms with TVNewser that Clinton’s traveling press secretary Nick Merrill responded to the show today. The spokesperson adds, “we look forward to having a conversation” about a potential Hillary Clinton booking on Fox News Sunday. With Wallace’s Bernie Sanders interview last Sunday, he has now talked to every major candidate in the race.

Clinton sat down with FNC’s Greta Van Susteren and Bret Baier in the summer of 2014 as she was weighing a run for the White House.
