Today, May 8, is the 70th anniversary of VE day, the day the allies declared victory in WWII.

To mark the occasion, there will be a flyover of dozens of World War II aircraft in Washington, DC. The first formation will be over the Lincoln Memorial
 around 12:10 p.m.

Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace got inside one of the planes — a B-24 which was built in 1941. He also sat down with former Air Force pilot Pete Bunce for Sunday’s Power Player segment. Bunce is on the executive committee of the Arsenal of Democracy Flyover.

Several of the planes will be on display at the National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles Airport tomorrow.
