Chris Cuomo Returns to CNN Following Father’s Funeral

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo returned to “New Day” this morning following the funeral for his father, former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo
Tuesday.

“It made it so much easier on my mom and on the family,” said Cuomo about the public outpouring of support. “You guys have been so amazing how you’ve reached out. My TV family was amazing to me. All the people you don’t get to see who matter the most, who make the show possible came out. And that’s all that matters in a time like that.” Chris Cuomo reported this story, as a remembrance.
