Late night talk show host Chelsea Handler continued her book tour last night on soon to be ex-CNN host Piers Morgan’s show, and had some pointed criticism for his non-stop tweeting.
“You can’t even pay attention for 60 seconds…you’re a terrible interviewer,” Handler said, criticizing Morgan for tweeting during the commercial break instead of interacting with his guest.
“You just weren’t keeping my attention,” Morgan responded. “That’s not my problem…this is your show, you have to pay attention to the guest you invited on your show.”
“Maybe that’s why you’re job is coming to and end,” Handler added as Morgan laughed. “I like you when you’re being nasty,” he said.
On CNN’s end, they seem to be taking the bashing of Morgan—and his show ending—in stride.
