Tonight, ABC’s Charlie Gibson hosts a special edition of “20/20” – “Over a Barrel: The Truth About Oil.”
Gibson crisscrosses the country in search of the true cost of oil. From Cushing, Oklahoma, where the price of a barrel there dictates the price nationally; to the Gulf of Mexico and one of the deepest oil rigs in the U.S.; to Berkeley, California where a new generation of biofuels is being developed to help decrease dependence on foreign oil.
The special was to air Wednesday, but was bumped to tonight due to Pres. Obama’s news conference. “Over a Barrel: The Truth About Oil” airs at 10pmET/PT.
