CBS Slides Sunday Start Times

By Chris Ariens

If you DVRd “60 Minutes” Sunday night hoping to see Scott Pelley’s interview with the former Navy SEAL, and you got the finish of the U.S. Open instead (guilty), CBS is sorry. And they’re going to fix that. The network will now list the start times of Sunday’s primetime a half hour later in the Eastern and Central time zones when there’s an NFL doubleheader. So “60 Minutes” will now be listed as starting at 7:30ET instead of 7ET. But just in case — in the event of an OT game — you might want to DVR the next show (“Amazing Race”) to make sure you get the whole thing.
