CBS News Writers Eye a Strike

By Chris Ariens

The NYTimesBill Carter has more on the proposed action by the WGA members at CBS News. Carter says the “writers, producers, editors and artists take a strike authorization vote tomorrow and Friday” with the results announced Monday. And even if there is an authorization to strike, doesn’t mean the writers will strike. WGA spokesperson Sherry Goldman tells Carter, “It only means we can declare a strike at any time.”
