TV newsers have been all over dramatic programming lately.
Fresh off a ton of cameos on the Netflix show “House of Cards,” CBS News’ Bob Schieffer is scheduled to play himself on the March 22 episode of “Madam Secretary.” The story line revolves around Elizabeth McCord, played by Tea Leoni, struggling to hold herself together emotionally after an attack in Iran and a possible ecological disaster in the Amazon.
While dealing with these two major events, she also has to prepare for a national television appearance on “Face the Nation.” The episode airs on Sunday at 8pmET on CBS.
