- Fox News will produce a breaking news special on the Casey Anthony verdict today at 5pmET. The hour replaces a Glenn Beck re-air and follows the acquittal of Anthony in the murder of her daughter. It will be hosted by Martha MacCallum and Bill Hemmer. Next week at 5pmET the network debuts a limited run daytime series called “The Five.”
- CBS News produces a “48 Hours” special tonight at 10pmET/9pmCT. Incidentally, the show produced a special in April before the trial began. A focus group assembled by “48 Hours” predicted the not guilty verdict.
- ABC News “Nightline” will air a special one-hour edition tonight on the Casey Anthony trial and verdict and continue with additional reports on “Primetime Nightline,” tomorrow at 10pmET.
- NBC’s Dennis Murphy recounts the Casey Anthony case on Friday’s Dateline at 9pmET/8pmCT.
