Cablevision Customers Are Warned: You May Lose Your Fox News

Fox News Channel is warning Connecticut Cablevision customers that “its programming might disappear in the next 30 days because its 10-year contract with the cable company is expiring,” the Stamford Advocate reports.

Last week, the network threatened to yank its programming if cable companies don’t agree to major rate increases.

FNC purchased ads in two local newspapers to inform viewers of the potential loss. John Malkin, FNC’s VP of affiliate marketing for Fox News Channel, says it’s “standard operating procedure:” “It’s just a notification and not meant to be anything more than that…”
