The 2012 election season continues tomorrow as Illinois voters head to the polls for the latest GOP primary. As usual, the cable networks will be covering the results. Here’s a look at what they have planned.
Fox News will air regularly scheduled primetime programming until 11pmET, when Bret Baier will anchor a one-hour live edition of “Special Report” from Chicago. Baier will also anchor live cut-ins during “The O’Reilly Factor,” “Hannity” and “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.” On sister network Fox Business, Neil Cavuto will anchor coverage beginning at 8pmET.
CNN will also cover the results within the network’s normal primetime lineup. Coverage will continue until 1amET with a second round of live shows in place of the usual re-airs: “Anderson Cooper 360” at 10pmET, “OutFront with Erin Burnett” at 11pmET and “Piers Morgan Tonight” at 12amET.
On MSNBC, coverage will also be included in the regular primetime shows. There will be a live hour-long 11pmET hour with the primetime anchors Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell,Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews and Al Sharpton.
