Cable Network Ranker: Week of May 9

Fox News Channel remained the top cable news channel, and the only one to crack the top 10 in both primetime and total day for the week of May 9-15.

In primetime FNC placed fifth overall with 1.77 million total viewers, behind only TNT (which had NBA playoff games), USA Network, ESPN and History. In total day the network placed seventh overall with 1.01 million total viewers.

MSNBC placed 24th overall in primetime with 774,000 viewers, and 28th in total day with 425,000.

CNN, which placed 10th last week, fell to 28th in primetime with 680,000 total viewers, and 24th in total day with 500,000.
