Cable Network Ranker: Week of May 30

Fox News was the only cable news channel to crack the top 10 cable networks in both total day and primetime for the week of May 30. Meanwhile HLN surged, placing higher than both big sister CNN and MSNBC in both categories.

FNC placed fourth overall in primetime with 1.585 million viewers, behind only USA Network, History and TNT, and ninth overall in total day with 896K viewers.

Coverage of the Casey Anthony trial helped put HLN in 26th in both primetime and total day, averaging 844K, and 537K viewers, respectively.

MSNBC was 29th in primetime and 36th in total day; CNN placed 36th in primetime and 34th in total day.
