Cable Network Ranker: Week of June 27-July 3

HLN’s coverage of the Casey Anthony trial  continued to bring dividends for HLN. For the week of June 27-July HLN was the #5 cable network in primetime, right behind Fox News Channel, and placed #6 in total day, two spots ahead of FNC.

In primetime, FNC placed 4th overall, behind only USA Network, TNT and History, drawing 1.59 million viewers. HLN was right behind at #5, averaging 1.49 million viewers. MSNBC placed 26th with 668K total viewers while CNN placed 34th with 448K.

In total day, HLN was 6th overall, averaging 1.2 million viewers, with FNC placing 8th with 975K. MSNBC was 30th with 412K and CNN was 34th with 362K.
