Cable Network Ranker: Fox News #1 in Primetime For Week of January 27

Boosted by a busy news week that included the State of the Union and the lead up to Fox’s broadcast of Super Bowl XLVIII, Fox News was the top ad-supported cable network in primetime for the week of January 27, averaging 2,265,000 viewers. FNC was fourth in total day with 1,237,000 viewers for the week. It was the highest-rated week for the network since 4/15/13, the week of the Boston Marathon bombing.

MNSBC placed 21st in primetime, with 894,000 viewers, and 26th in total day, with 464,000 viewers. CNN placed 29th in primetime and 32nd in total day, with 608,000 viewers and 353,000 viewers, respectively.
