Cable Network Ranker: April 2013

By Alex Weprin

In our monthly cable news ratings roundup, it was clear that April was a huge news month, particularly for Fox News and CNN, which saw significant ratings bumps due to the Boston bombing and the subsequent manhunt.

Those numbers are apparent in the April cable network ranker. Fox News placed second among all ad-supported cable networks in primetime for the month behind USA, and third among all cable networks when Disney Channel is added to the mix. In total day, FNC placed third among ad-supported cable channels.
