Brian Williams Leads NBC News Election Night Coverage

brian-williams-dncNBC News will provide two one-hour primetime specials on election night, led by “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams. Coverage begins at 10 p.m. ET, and continues online at 11 p.m. with a live “digital-exclusive” program through midnight.

NBC will also provide brief special reports on the broadcast network throughout the evening, and “NBC Nightly News” will update its broadcast for the West coast. A second live hour of election coverage will air in the West at 10 p.m. PT.

Williams will anchor from a new elections desk at NBC News headquarters in New York, joined by Chuck Todd, NBC News political director, Andrea Mitchell, NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent, Tamron Hall, “TODAY” co-host, Tom Brokaw, NBC News special correspondent, and Joe Scarborough, NBC News senior political analyst and host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC.
