“NBC Nightly News” is unveiling a new series of promos this week in honor of Brian Williams’ upcoming 10th anniversary as anchor and managing editor.
The new campaign is narrated by Academy Award-winning actor and producer Michael Douglas, who has been the voice of the “NBC Nightly News” opening announcement since 2007. The promos feature still photographs of Williams reporting from the field during major stories of the past decade, including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the earthquake in Haiti, Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, tornado devastation, the 70th anniversary of D-Day, and more.
