Brian Stelter’s ‘Reliable Sources’ Debut Ratings

“Reliable Sources” averaged 400,000 total viewers and 118,000 A25-54 viewers on Brian Stelter’s debut as host of the CNN show.

The debut numbers were down -13% in total viewers and -17% in the demo compared to the average of the three shows Stelter guest-hosted. The show was also down compared to its Q4 average, -10% in total viewers and -9% in the demo. Compared to the year-ago Sunday, “Reliable Sources” was flat in total viewers and up +4% in the demo.

Compared to the last four broadcasts of Howard Kurtz’s “Reliable Sources” before he joined Fox News, Stelter’s show was down -7% in total viewers but up +5% in the A25-54 demo.

Kurtz’s “MediaBuzz” on Fox News averaged 964,000 total viewers and 239,000 A25-54 viewers. The show is up +2% in total viewers and +28% in the demo compared to its Q4 average and up +5% and +18%, respectively, compared to the year-ago Sunday.
