Booker Battle: McGreevey Wife “A Big Get?”

Yesterday TVNewser said Diane Sawyer‘s upcoming interview with Dina Matos McGreevey was a “big get.” But “NBC’s Today and CBS’s Early Show both say they didn’t even go after an interview,” Gail Shister reports.

“I don’t think we were even interested in it,” Jim Bell says. “I don’t consider her to be the story now,” Steve Friedman adds.

ABC’s Jeffrey Schneider responds: “Those guys should check with their bookers, who were making every conceivable effort to interview Dina. Perhaps the heads of those shows don’t know what their own troops are doing…”
