Bob Schieffer ‘So zoned in on trying to get this debate going, my clock kind of stopped at 10:30 last night’

Other than hosting “Face the Nation,” Bob Schieffer has been off the CBS airwaves for the last few weeks, preparing for the final Presidential debate, not wanting his commentary on the air to conflict with his role as moderator.

And now that it’s over, Schieffer isn’t quite sure what to expect in the final two weeks of campaigning.

“I have been so zoned in on trying to get this debate going and talking to people about it. My clock kind of stopped at 10:30 last night,” Schieffer told Norah O’Donnell on “CBS This Morning.”

As for the debate, Schieffer says: “I thought we got a good and maybe a little better sense of who each of these men was last night. So, I felt in that sense, I came away feeling pretty good about it.”
