ABC’s Bill Weir signed off from his nearly six-year run as co-anchor of “Good Morning America” weekend yesterday. And tonight he begins his new role as “Nightline” co-anchor. Weir is taking over for Martin Bashir who signed off last week and will be joining MSNBC next month.

After six years of waking up early, Weir had a confession. Click continued to watch his goodbye.

ABC will announce later today who’ll be filling in on GMA weekend until a permanent replacement is named.
