Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly went on NBC’s Today show this morning to promote his book and discuss Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign. Matt Lauer started with a discussion about 2016 politics, asking about Scott Walker dropping out, and Donald Trump‘s comments last night on Twitter about Fox News:
.@oreillyfactor, why don’t you have some knowledgeable talking heads on your show for a change instead of the same old Trump haters. Boring!

.@oreillyfactor was very negative to me in refusing to to post the great polls that came out today including NBC. @FoxNews not good for me! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 22, 2015
“I’ve known Trump a long time, he wants people to like him. When people criticize him he takes it personally. And this machine, this tweeting thing. The worst thing you can give Donald Trump is this tweeting thing,” O’Reilly said. “I just think this is just an extension of his reality show, The Apprentice. This is just theater right now.”
The “theater” included more anti-Fox tweets:
“@coolgirl6978: @oreillyfactor @FoxNews this is bull fox. O’Reilly, I expect better from you. What is going on? Fair and balanced my ass”
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 22, 2015
“@Rbbrkhd: @realDonaldTrump @oreillyfactor @FoxNews The way you have treated @realDonaldTrump is totally unacceptable…CNN has been fair”
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 22, 2015
45 minutes later, during The Kelly File, Trump continued his Fox attacks with another shot at Megyn Kelly:
“@diannrr: @megynkelly Do you dream about @realDonaldTrump? He’s in your head. Let it go.” She is the worst – all anti-Trump! Terrible show.
