Bill O’Reilly…Marlboro Man?

By Jordan Chariton

While opening the “O’Reilly Factor” last night, Bill O’Reilly revealed an offer he received four decades ago that might have changed the course of today’s number one cable news host’s career.

“While I was covering the news in Denver, I was approached by a modeling agency to be the Marlboro guy…dressed as a cowboy,” O’Reilly said while talking about the 1960’s government campaign against tobacco. “I’m from Long Island,” O’Reilly continued, presumably thinking he couldn’t pull off playing a cowboy.

O’Reilly concluded his Talking Points segment urging a campaign against the “United States of intoxication,” specifically noting rising marijuana use.
