Bill O’Reilly is not afraid of dying and he doesn’t want to be remembered when he’s gone. “Once I’m gone, Im gone. I don’t care,” the Fox News host tells the Washington Posts’s Sally Quinn in her On Faith column. The bulk of the conversation is about O’Reilly’s faith, growing up in an Irish Catholic household and what God mean to him today. But the interview also touches on the existential:
“Do you think that you’ll ever stop?” Quinn asks. “Yes, I do. I’m tired now, so I’ve got to cut it back soon. I just don’t know when that will be.”
Quinn: You say you’re the biggest sinner of all. What are your sins?

O’Reilly: Everything. I’m a volatile guy. I’m not a holy-roller. I’m not a malicious guy, but I’m like everybody else. I’m fallible. I’m not going to tell you, Sally Quinn, what my sins are. But I’m certainly fallible and I don’t put myself up as any paragon of virtue.
