Bill O’Reilly Has Some Personal Finance Questions for Maria Bartiromo

By Merrill Knox

In her first appearance on Fox News, Maria Bartiromo sat down with Bill O’Reilly to talk personal finance this week. O’Reilly kicked off the interview by telling the newly-minted FBN anchor, “I just put 25 percent of my investments in stocks, because I don’t trust it. I think it’s a rigged game, I really do.”

“At the end of the day, you really can’t say everything is a rigged game,” Bartiromo said. “If you’re a long-term investor, you have to be in this market … At the end of the day, Bill, you’re talking 5, 10, 15, 20 years — you’ve gotta be invested in stocks.”

At the end of the segment, O’Reilly told viewers Bartiromo “wasn’t spoiled being over at NBC for so long. She’s still a very nice woman. I’ve known her a long time.” Watch:
