Bill O’Reilly: BlackBerrys, iPhones Causing People to Create Their Own ‘Bubble’

By Jordan Chariton

While speaking with Matt Lauer this morning, Bill O’Reilly’s gave his take on Hillary Clinton‘s potential run for president, the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl prisoner swap, and how mobile and second screen devices are causing people to create their own universes.

“They don’t know now,” O’Reilly answered Lauer about young people not knowing the history behind events like today’s D-Day anniversary. “These machines are taking over the world,” O’Reilly continued, suggesting BlackBerrys and iPhones are helping people create their own “bubble.”

The former English teacher also pointed blame at the education system: “Public schools don’t teach history.”
