Bill Griffeth Back at CNBC

By Alex Weprin

Longtime CNBC anchor Bill Griffeth–who announced in November, 2009 that he would be taking 2010 off to travel–has returned to the business network. Griffeth’s first day back at CNBC is today where  he will be co-anchoring the 3 PM hour of “Closing Bell.”

To give you a sense of how long Griffeth has been in the TV financial news field, he joined the Financial News Network in 1981, and moved to CNBC when NBC purchased FNN in 1991.
